Teachers boost tech talents

Five teachers work on their laptops and are assisted by two tech coaches

It’s summer, but not everyone is on vacation. District teachers looking to push the boundaries of technology were back in the classroom this week, where they learned the latest tools, apps, resources and strategies to help them meet the diverse needs of their students.

Elementary, middle and high school teachers and their laptops spent four days at Â鶹ӰÒô High School at the Technology Innovation Academy, a professional development session led by district technology gurus Jeremy Dudley, Rebecca Bustelos, Kristen Buyce, Marlena Klein and Theresa Story.

This is the fourth year the Technology Innovation Academy has offered the session, and each year three groups of educators take part. We’re all lifelong learners!
