About our school
Here at TOAST, our goal is to prepare students to be college and career ready as well as lifelong learners by providing them with a strong STEAM-based education.
One of four magnet programs in the City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô, TOAST offers additional science and technology classes and extracurricular programming to all of our students.
This includes a different grade level STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) theme and field trip each year, after school enrichment programming, unique community partnerships, our community garden, geological park, rock climbing wall and so much more!
In addition to our magnet status, TOAST is also a community school. This allows our building to serve as a hub for community events and activities, providing services to students, families and the community during the school day and beyond.
Sophia Newell
Principal
At TOAST, learning involves curiosity, observation, problem-solving, inquiry, creativity and discovery, allowing students to build their own understanding of the world and how its parts fit together.
The school’s STEAM theme – science, technology, engineering, arts and math – is reinforced with specialized instruction in the state-of-the-art computer lab, the dedicated science room and an outdoor pavilion and geologic rock park.
Hands-on learning and community collaborations actively involve children in acquiring the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to succeed in high school, college and beyond.
Visit our Magnet Registration page to learn more about enrolling.
TOAST is a Community School, which functions as neighborhood centers providing additional support and services to students and families during and beyond the regular school day. For more information on services and programs we offer, please contact:
