The Â鶹ӰÒô Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is seeking nominations for the 2025 HERO Award for Special Education.

The award recognizes and celebrates excellence in education by spotlighting a City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô employee who goes above and beyond in their work helping special education students get the support they need.

and. The deadline to submit nominations is Feb. 14. Please be as honest and descriptive as you can be about the person you are recommending for recognition.

Possible nominees include teachers, teaching assistants, paraprofessionals, related service providers, social workers, school psychologists, Committee on Special Education chairpeople, Committee on Preschool Special Education chairpeople, administrators and others.

Let’s tell our staff how much we appreciate all they do for our special education students! Awards will be announced in March, which is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.
