The Â鶹ӰÒô Indoor Percussion Ensemble rocked its first home show Saturday at Â鶹ӰÒô High School with a performance of “The Greatest Show (Un)earthed.”

Â鶹ӰÒô Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of 44 students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater. It’s split into junior varsity and varsity levels, with advanced students playing varsity.

The ensemble competes in the New York State Percussion Circuit under the direction of Mark Sanford, who also serves as the percussion coach for the Â鶹ӰÒô Marching Falcons.

Percussion teams competing Saturday hailed from New Hartford, Eastridge, Liverpool, East Syracuse-Minoa and Mohonasen.
